CORPORATE WORK STUDY PROGRAM
Partnering with over 1,700 businesses across the United States, Cristo Rey Network schools are revolutionizing urban education. Similar to an employee leasing agency, the Corporate Work Study Program has optimized the process of employing its students. Rather than being directly on the payroll of the employing organization, students are employees of the school's separately incorporated Corporate Work Study Program. The sponsoring organization pays annually for the services of these students.
Cristo Rey students primarily fund their tuition by dedicating four days a week to college preparatory coursework and one day to a professional, entry-level job as part of their Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) requirements. This four-year blend of rigorous academics and CWSP experience ensures our students are prepared for both college and careers.
The Corporate Work Study Program has yielded numerous tangible benefits for its students. It has become an innovative approach to providing crucial hands-on, professional work experience while empowering students to actively contribute to financing their education. By working in a business environment, students cultivate positive relationships in the business and professional communities, expand their resources, gain valuable job experience and marketable skills, establish a network of business contacts, and explore a wide array of career opportunities.
We are proud to partner with more than 100 companies from Indianapolis & Carmel. Our students can learn from some of the most recognized and acclaimed companies in our area.
