Duke Realty Holds Career Day for PCR Students

Eighteen Providence Cristo Rey juniors and seniors were invited to attend a Career Day hosted by Duke Realty at their offices in Carmel, Indiana. Duke Realty hosted this special event exclusively for students at Providence Cristo Rey High School.

Duke employees organized an open forum learning environment where the upperclassmen were exposed to five different career options within the company, including Human Resources, Information Technology, Property Management, Marketing, and Development Services.

The students met Duke employees from each area, and participated in a hands-on activity to learn more about the different departments represented.

Senior Kayla Massy-Charles enjoyed learning about a new area that she had not considered before - property management. "I like the idea of working with people. I also enjoyed the marketing and human resources areas."

Duke decided to create this day to expose students to career fields they had not known about before, or let them know a field they may already be interested in can work in the real estate industry.

This is Duke Realty's fourth year as a Corporate Work Study Partner with Providence Cristo Rey. We are so thankful for their continued willingness to go above and beyond for our students!
